It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia (2008)
The Patty’s Pub gang was back last week with the premiere of Season 4 and it had me laughing all the way through the night. Irreverent, ill-tempered and as foul-mouthed as before (sorry, Mom), this show is just a train-wreck of hilarious that still hasn’t stopped to count the bodies. If you happened to miss the earlier episodes, do yourself a favor and hit ‘em up on Hulu. You’ll probably regret it in the long run, but like a couple of crazies filled with tape-worms, after one bite, it’ll be what you are craving for later on. Trust me.
The “Two” in Review (by Matt):
This is a show that I couldn’t see myself liking. As a matter of fact, the first time I ever watched this show I caught an episode in the third season and hated it. I just didn’t get the appeal. But I’ll tell you what, watch this series from the beginning and you will find a place in your heart for It’s Always Sunny. I have a theory that the shows you stick with and love are the ones in which you are invested in the characters. Usually it’s because you like them. You want to see how they grow, who they end up with, things like that. This is not that show. You will get sucked into this show because these are characters you love to hate. This is honestly a surprisingly brilliant show and I now count this as one of my top five favorites on television.
My backup rating: 4.5 stars
