Overly hyped, to somewhat of its own detriment … at least in respect to the fact that a movie with strong profanity and extreme vulgarity was attended by 7 and 10 yrs.
Definitely plenty of laugh-out-loud funny moments and crazy quotable lines, but in my opinion, these are completely overshadowed and forgettable in light of the shame I felt sitting in a theater watching this near any age female or a guy younger than 15. Will Ferrell playing the drums … but not with any “drum sticks” … ‘nuf said.

You know what? I desperately wanted this movie to be good. I’ve been aching for a good Will Ferrell movie for awhile now, especially now that people like Judd Apatow and Seth Rogen have stolen my heart away. I wanted this to be it. And while I can say there were some really funny lines and some really funny moments (the entire music video scene), it was really just that: funny lines and funny moments. But not a complete funny movie. It looks like the rumors of Farrell being played out might just be true. I surely hope not, but this movie has me wondering…
